Hi Jackson, They look alot like Hannibal's version. Stuart L. has used his Hannibal for a few years now and is pretty satisfied with it. I would have a close inspection of things like the hinge mechanism, stitching, zippers, bug screen. These are all areas that a company can cheap out on. Also see if the ladder is skookum enough and examine the method of attachment to the roof rack. Generally you get what you pay for in these things but price can also be a reflection of the fact that it is built off-shore by an army of twelve-year-olds in debt bondage.

Bill's right....this is a direct copy of the Hannibal Tent, no questions about it. The awnings, window shapes etc etc. The hinges look about half or less the thickness of the Hannibal and the top manufacturers are still using good marine plywood for the bases but I see the fake isn't, I think condensation and strength could be an issue.

The seams are so very critical and I can't tell from the pictures and can only imagine.

I think the hinges would be critical though. I did have to repair mine after driving into a low parking lot with the tent on...opps! It took a 20 ton press to straighten it.

At that price it may be a bargin, or maybe you only get half the tent for half the price.
