Corner of highway 97 and Austin road [ here in Prince George ] at the Petro Canada service station ; all were being towed by mammoth motor homes . They were from Florida heading to Alaska . In speaking with the owners , they classified their Land Rovers as ' Alaskan runabouts ' . Ok ! I never did understand why you would tow a vehicle as opposed to putting them on a trailer to avoid the wear and tear ? The cost of a trailer vs the cost of one of these motor homes is a rounding error .
