Land Rover Rally in Duncan.

#1 Post by Greg S » Mon May 05, 2008 9:38 pm

Time is flying by. It will be our 6th Annual get-together on June 7th. I need to order Tee Shirts real soon for delivery by the rally. Please Email sizes and numbers to [email protected]

Price will be at cost. Previously under $20. Artwork is original! These shirts may be worth a lot of money someday!

For all us mainlanders. Check out the Coast Savers from BC Ferries that are available the weekend of the Island Event. Both TW to Swartz Bay and to Duke Point still available at drastically reduced prices.

No I don't work for BC Ferries or Tourism.. :D

It's next Saturday and Sunday, 7th & 8th. For details go to our Website.

www.vanislelandrovernetwork.com

Breakfast on Sunday is ordered, buffet at $12.95

Saturday lunch, I'm putting on Hamburgers and Hot dogs. Saturday dinner is Pot Luck. A fund raising draw will be after dinner Saturday, tickets at the site all day Saturday. Saturday, No Scratch Drive is all laid out. Sunday's route isn't finalized yet. I hear there is still 7 feet of snow where we went last year.

too all those who waited thank you!

Our problem turned out to be a stuck (closed of course) T-stat, hence all the collant and overheating...

I'll be there next year, and hopefuly make it farther than 1km up the trail!

For photos of some of what you missed, click on the "Photos" tab at www.vanislelandrovernetwork.com

A lot fewer people and vehicles this year but a great time none the less.
