Bring it with you. Anything over 15 years old comes in easily. Since it is part of your personal goods, there will be no duty or tax. Defenders are hard to find and expensive here.

When we moved last year it cost me about 2k pounds more for the 40' container over a 20'. You'd make that back easily if you decided to sell the vehicle on once you were here. BTW, if you have room to spare I'd be interested in buying some space off you for parts etc. Please PM me to discuss.
