The shaft that holds on the wiper arm to motor shaft is about 3/16", and the arm is clamped in to place. All I can find are the newer style arms that are about 1/2" and serraded so the shaft does not turn with in the arm. Does any one know of a source for these arms and blades/rubbers please?
Thanks, Pat
Source for Series I wiper arms?

Wise Owl has an adapter that may or may not work. I've heard both sides in this.
If you go to a marine supply store, and I'm sure there should be one (or 12) in Victoria, they have a wiper arm and blade (straight type of blade) and the arm has a small brass pinch adapter that will fit over the shaft and a bolt is tightened to pinch it in place. I had to ream the centre hole for mine but it works great.

I got the small adapters from W/O as well for my ser1. I do recall having to do a small amount of reaming to fit. A small allen screw locks them in place. I also put on the ser3 wiper arms that have the bayonet type of wiper attachment. The straight arms may look more authentic if you can find them.
