Gear Centre Group 4x4 Club

#1 Post by steveep » Mon Mar 17, 2008 5:57 pm

Hey guys, just a link I thought may be of interest to the club

http://www.4x4club.ca/

It's run by the Gear Center Group, which includes Pat's Driveline among other shops, and as I understand it Roverlanders can sign up as a club and have all members receive club discounts on parts purchases as well as installs at any of their member shops. They apparently also sponsor 4x4 events, offer wholesale parts deals, have garage sales, and host maintenance workshops etc.

I e-mailed to get all of the details because I was going to contact Pat's about some driveshaft woes relating to my engine conversion, but didn't know if there was possibly interest beyond me within the forum or club? or whether Dave or someone would be interested in contacting them on behalf of the club? (which hopefully I'll one day be apart of if I can ever make a meeting =s)

In any case, I don't have any more information then what is on the website for now (ie if there's a fee for the membership cards or anything) but I'll keep you updated if there's any interest

Great, thanks for the info Rick, I've just moved my drivetrain back so my driveshaft angles are all different now . . want to see what they have to say about the increased driveshaft angle

I believe the Pat's that Rick is referring to is in Surrey . . and while they have various locations listed on their website, I didn't see any on the island
