ARMY 110 Wolf?

#1 Post by Dave_F » Thu Mar 26, 2009 10:38 pm

I was coming out of the Cassiar connector this afternoon heading east and flying by heading westbound into the tunnel was (what looked like)a Wolf, wheel on the side, roll up blackout blinds on the rear windows, all army green, also looked like it was sitting up high. Unfortunately I was zipping by (I was in the volvo ) and only got a glimpse...but it sure looked interesting.

It was about 1:45pm

Anybody else see it?

Yes, I did. About 2:20 I was headed Eastbound alongside it. It was in the HOV, so I couldn't see the side-mounted spare, but I noticed the blackout curtains on all the windows. I snapped a pic of it on my Blackberry, and am in the middle of pulling it off there to upload.

At first I saw the civilian Alberta plates and figured it for a BATUS truck, but the two occupants looked distinctly civilian.

Does not look like a Wolf. A normal ex-Batus truck.

I agree...wishful thinking on my part.

Sure was pretty though. Although the people behind him in the HOV lane didn't appreciate his at-the-limit steady state cruising speed.
