Hi Guys
Well fire season is done its time for a drive. Meet at the Tim Horton's across from the BC Forest Museum in Duncan on Sunday October 14th coffee at 8:30 and we will leave at 9:00am sharp heading to port Renfrew, Via the gravel roads behind Lake Cowichan. Bring a lunch, lawn chairs, a radio of some sort maybe a shovel, a camera, and maybe some Halloween goodies to share.
If you are coming please reply on this forum we need at least 4 rovers to make this work. (Or it will not happen) Please check this forum for any last minute changes.
I also need a ride like usual, 2 rovers and nothing to drive in.

Hi Victor we will be there so you will have to be quick to get the front seat.
Thinking we may go up the Gordon River mainline and look at some of the caves and find some interesting trails.

Hi Doug
Thanks maybe Marg and I will ride with you guys if that's okay? It should be a glorious fall day out in the hills with lots of colorful fall leaves to look at. I know your rovers windows will be clean as your rover is always spotless (Better to see the scenery)
(Sorry Colin) but thanks for the initial offer its always appreciated.
See you guys next Sunday.

If you guys want coordinates for the caves I can provide them as the map shows them being in the wrong spot.

I visited them a few weeks back with UVIC so I may be able to get there from memory but the coordinates would be helpful as well.
Anyone else want to tag along?
Victor-I used the morning dew to clean my windows, they're pretty much spotless now.

Hi, I'd like to come along if I may. On the forum but not a member. Happy to give a ride to anyone without. I also have "The Pacific Marine Circle Route" guidebook that has GPS coordinates for the caves!

Hi Everyone
It was a pleasant day out, we explored some caves, had a nice picnic lunch in the sunshine, met a new range rover driver from Victoria and saw some great scenery.
Thanks for coming Rob you made the 4 rover minimum work for the drive.
See you guys on the next one, when ever that will be I do not know, probably in the new year.
Victor.

Colin /Oliver ,
Just wanted to ask about the heavy molded rubber ‘blanket’ that you have placed on top of the motor... trying or order one, but can’t find any name or product identification ... hoping you can give me some assistance.... thanks Doug

Hi Doug, the part number is ERR4632 and I ordered ours through Jeremy at parabolicsprings.com I think it's either called an acoustic cover or sound deadening cover.
