Hi , working on my project have a 2.5 n/a in a series , motor had a oil cooler on it , I was going to put one on the series then started thinking I probably really don't need the cooler , if I want to discard the cooler is it as easy as pulling the lines and plugging the holes in the oil filter adapter ?

I think I would loop it. I'm not sure what the thermostat looks like internally and plugging the lines could stop the oil flow. A hose connecting the lines (which will have to be rated for hot oil and at pressure) would just be a really poor cooler and so would leave the rest of the system the same.

Yes you can plug the holes. There are factory trucks without oil coolers.

I contacted Turner's and they have a kit , that comes with a plate and a plug , have to pull some stuff off the adapter . Might be just easier to put the cooler on lol .

When I put the 2.5NA into my Series 3 I just looped the line and it has been totally fine.
