Hi guys,
That is my motor and transmission.
It’s from my 2001 Defender 90 with 107,000km.
One of the cylinders has low compression so I strongly recommend a rebuild.
I had another TD5 and trans removed for my Defender 130 Duramax project and installed it in place of this motor at Rovalution (Don’s shop)
Everything you need for a swap... gas pedal, ECU, transfercase, R380, motor.
Open to offers. 8)

You can't mention a duramax in a 130 without a story and pics...

Hey Geoffrey,
Are you certain about the ability to transplant a TD5 into an earlier Defender. I looked into it and found it cost prohibitive because the ECU needs input from all sort of places and gauges and was definitely not plug and play. Perhaps someone has found a way to reprogram the ECU.
