Sawed in half... heaved into the bin at the transfer station. I said a few words in respect.

My old frame will be available as of Nov. 15 or so.
It's not perfect, but it is probably readily salvageable by someone with welding chops (i.e., not me).
Front dumbirons and rear crossmember will need replacing.
Evidence of patching around suspension attach points in the past, but the frame rings solid.

FREE.

I can deliver to Fraser Valley for a suitably worthwhile fee.

I also have a deluxe bonnet and some front wings, but those might take longer to liberate from the storage area.

I've got the welding skills and work for beer money or trade for defender parts if someone wants this trailer fixed up.

Well, not by me... but I suppose we could look at getting it on a delivery service of some kind? No idea what that would cost...

Anyone else making a trip to the island in three weeks or so, who has space for a giant hunk of steel?

Sure will!

Last call on the frame. It will be going for scrap early next week!

Hopefully someone is able to grab this, it sucks to see usable parts scrapped for no other reason than lack of space.

I'd take it if I was closer, even just to save it from being scrapped, but I'm 6 hours away so not in a position to grab a frame I don't really need.
