The Rover-Landers of BC

I've had my 2A for 23 years, but I finally took the plunge and bought a "modern" rover, a 1997 P38. I have a generic OBD2 scanner, but I think I need a more specific scanner(?) and what Workshop Manual should I get? I'm sure there are other things that I'm not even aware that I should ask, so any advice would be appreciated. It has a few glitches that I need to fix, but so far I'm loving it.

Then, depending on how mechanical savy you are, I would recommend picking up a work shop manual, should be able to find one on Amazon or eBay. Online versions are available but if your like me, you prefer the old fashion paper versions!

Thanks a lot Andy. Wow, what a ton of info all in one place. I'm an aircraft mechanic and do virtually all my own mechanical work, so I imagine I'll be learning lots about Range Rovers in the coming years.
