Anyone recommend a tire shop on Vancouver Island that has good pricing?
I'm looking to purchase some BFG All Terrain T/A KO's.

I usually find good pricing and service in Duncan at Joe's Tire Hospital. Closed Mondays.

Thanks! I'm relatively new to the area. I'll check them out.

I've had good success with Cedar Tire.

Another option if you are not in a mad rush and can wait for the right time. The last time I bought some BFG All Terrain T/A KO's. they were on sale at Canadian Tire, plus when I used my CT MasterCard they were interest free payments for a year..... have to keep an eye on the CT sales brouchures, I noticed the BFG A/T's are not on sale their very often.

That's a good tip about Cdn. Tire. I'll watch the flyers.

Hello

I realize you are asking about tires for a much more modern rover than mine but these would probably work. (In the size you need of course)

I just recently bought 5 235x85x16 Voracio Black Lion all terrains from Okay Tire in Duncan (Across from the forest museum). This is their house brand tire, I wanted something that looked kind of period for a old 1962 Land rover. These do, they are tall and skinny with out too much sculpting on the sidewalls which just about every tire now comes with.
I believe I payed $221.00 per tire all fees included (no tubes used and mounted on 5.5 inch long wheel base 109 rims). They even demounted the 30-35? year old nylon tires and let me take the rims home to paint, then mounted and balanced them when I brought them back all painted up.

I have not driven the rover yet this year so have no clue if they will be good tires or not. However they have them on one of the pick ups at work they seem fine.

Thanks Victor. I feel I've researched the tires to death now and narrowed it down to a couple options for my 3. First choice are BFG All terrains.
If you're able, please share some pics - I'd like to see your rig with its new shoes on.

Cedar tire is by far the best place for tires on the island!

Hi Mohan

Sorry I have no clue how to get pictures onto this forum, but we should do a coffee or pub night again around Duncan sometime soon. I believe all the roads are closed for fires by now so a drive is out at least until the rains return.
