Happy New Year!

If you can get yourself out of bed early on New Years Day, the forecast is for a bright & sunny day, a few of us are heading out on a spontaneous run out to Peg Leg Island. Not 100% sure if we can access at this time of year but we will have a "plan B" in the case we cant.

To confirm the details;
What - A one day fun off-road trip to Peg Island - Chilliwack
When - Meet at 10.00am on Sunday Jan 1st
Where - Meeting at Tim Hortons at 43971 Industrial Way (Lickman road Exit 116 turn off of H-way #1) Peg Island is only 20 mins from there.
What Else - Bring Lunch, dress warm, There is a gas station next to Tim's, Fuel up before 10.00am. Hopefully have a fire at the lunch stop
Bring a folding chair & bundle of firewood if possible.
We plan to be back on the asphalt before 4pm

A small but keen group gathered on New Years Day Morning, it was cold and crisp but sunny and bright....
Peg Leg Island was not accessible due to high frozen water but we still found lots to do and see!
We also did a surprise visit to the Hyland family which was a highlight of the day (thanks Ray)

Didn't spot that - Missed another one!

I was New Years Day chef, so would have missed it anyway :(
