Let me start by saying this seems like a great club and forum and I'm glad to have been accepted onto it.

I was wondering someone knew a good mechanic that can work on TD5's.

It would help to know where you are located. :)

I'm in Victoria but I can travel to the mainland if needed.
The engine in question runs, just needs an overhaul to get her in tip top condition.

There are a couple of places on the North Shore Mainland that certainly could help you out with your TD5 (HESP and Rovalution).
but maybe one of the Island members will know somewhere on the Island that is closer for you...

Sorry for the late response for some reason Tapatalk doesn't give me notifications when people respond.

Thanks for the tips, I don't mind travelling to Vancouver. There was a guy up island who does conversions but not maintenance as far as I know.

The camshaft needs replacing and I just don't have the time or space to do it right now.

I'd love to come to some events when one of my rovers is up and running haha.
