I've just joined the club and just want to say HI!
My Rover is the red headed step child of the Land Rover family, a 2004 Freelander 1 and is the updated facelift model.
It's a good little vehicle, nice to drive and after owning it for six months is gradually getting sorted and more reliable (But not lately!)
It's not the first Landy I've owned, back in the early 80's I had an ex-forestry 1974 series 3 88. (see my avatar)
It was a good truck and I had a lot of fun with it. I remember that it never let me down in the bush
but used to break axles pulling out of parking spaces in town.
My Freelander currently shares the garage with a 1997 MGF VVC roadster. Yes, I am a sucker for punishment.
I hope to be able to attend some club functions and do some not too serious off-roading. Not too serious as the Freelander
is the car that has to get me to work.
At the moment the Freelander is off the road with some ignition woes but parts are on the way and I hope to have it mobile again soon.
Cheers,
Rich
