Well I have gotten tired of packing all my camping gear in the back of the rover with me taking my two sons out and all the crap we need to bring it was a royal pia so I decided I needed a off road trailer something that I could haul anywhere the rover can go I looked at buying one ...but thats expensive and I am kinda cheap ..plus I have all the tools and enuff dumb ideas to build anything and with that so it begins ...I am sure it will get out of hand and will prolly end up costing me more than I could have bought it for but whatever thats how I roll...lol anyways here are a few pics of where I am at so far ...let me know what ya think ..

Looking good! I'm in the same boat as you, getting tired of packing all the kid stuff and camping gear into the LR3. Maybe this should be my first project once I finish my garage/workshop build.

Looking Great, keep us updated as it progresses.
There is a member (Mark) with a similar one currently in use.... if I remember correctly the tent frame is on adjustable legs so it can be raised/lowered as needed.

And my wife is still mad that I sold it to Mark but it looks awesome behind his Defender.
