My defender 2.5 diesel broke. Will a 300tdi mate with the lt77 transmission? Other mods required? Motor mounts etc?

i have a great 2.5 nad you can buy.
I swapped to the 300tdi. its not a direct swap, but it is doable. best way to do it is get it with the r380 and all the extra bits you need. (floor pan, radiator, mounts, etc)
The wiring is easy as long as you get a non computer controlled engine.

Go with a 200TDi it is a drop-in.

300tdi easy swap. Suggest a Steve Parker kit. I used one and it worked quite well. It includes all you need with instructions. Also got the complete exhaust system. Wasn't cheap but if you cant fabricate and or don't have the time and energy the lit works well.
