Hi has anyone galvanized their series door bottom frames? what did you do with the brazed on hinge tubes that pass through the sides of the frames? the brazing will probably melt in the galvanizing process, and wont the tubes fall out if not spot welded in place?

I had my door bottoms galvanized. No issue with the brazing that I could see, slight warping but it was easy to straighten. I would recommend trial fitting before you re-skin them so you can really twist the frame if need be.

Maybe bot your thing, but for reference, you can buy new galv doors out of the UK. 130 pounds each plus shipping.

been wondering if they were still in business. price lists online are from 2012 and they have had the same notice on their site of their HQ being in the process of moving for over a year.
