I am thinking of Waxoly'ing my chassis. Does anyone know of shops which provide such services? Thanks!

Hi Andrew,

I think I remember Trevor trying out a Waxoyl sprayer at Rovalution on one of my many trips there this summer.

Probably any of our sponsors will be able to steer you in the right direction.

You may also want to investigate Krown or RustCheck.

John,

Thanks for the info. Both franchises look to be very good and inexpensive options. I will check them out.

I called a number of the Krown and Rustcheck dealers. They only sell the products but doe not offer spraying services. I may just go and do it myself.

Anyone interested in doing this with me? Or perhaps make this as a club winter event. I have a contact who owns a fab shop in Abbotsford and I can rent his shop for a few hours or 1/2 day. He has compressor equipment, fab equipment, lift and tools.

Don at Rovalution just did a Defender and it looks fantastic.

Not inexpensive, but if you value your chassis..then really a wise investment.

Andrew,
I was thinking about this a few days ago. Don't know why as I have a galv chassis (but maybe the next project). Anyway, Ottawa Valley Land Rover have an annual event which is a great together and they all get stuck into their chassis. They suggest jacking up one end of the car a while before and give the chassis a good flush.

From all accounts by knowledgeable Land Rover owners Krown is the place to go.

The rust /corrosion service Rovalution is doing is a product called Dinitrol.

After looking at the Krown site, and process, I would say the Dinitrol is about 1000% more comprehensive. The Krown has to be re-applied every year.
