Just a heads up for any soon to be winch owners…Princes Auto has a very good sale on Superwinch EPi 9.0. $777.77 until Sept 11th (stock is running out).
If you are unfamiliar with Superwinch…well it was the winch of choice for Camel Trophy (until marketing got in the way…Warn) & still is the winch of choice for most Camel Trophy veterans (they where & are using mostly the Husky series of winches) however the planetary line up seems to have carried on the tradition of rugged, reliable, water proof service.
This winch is also synthetic line friendly with the brake located at the end of the gear box instead of inside the cable drum.
