The Rover-Landers of BC

I am planning a weekend camping trip with my 7 year old son. Does anyone know of a spot around Vancouver or Bellingham where we could camp with our Disco and RTT and be right by the ocean?

Porteau Cove about 45 min north of Vancouver has waterfront camping. There isn't much else unless you go to the island or Sunshine Coast.
