MOD 110 Turn Signal Help Needed....

Hi all,

I've got a new to me ex MOD 110. Am having a heck of a time with the turn signals. They don't work. The manual I've got isn't too specific on the mounted locations for relays and fuses. Was wondering if anyone can help with this: need to know for sure where the signal relay is supposed to be mounted, if there is a fuse associated with the relay and if so which one is it? Brake lights work, marker lights, headlights and a switched set at the back work.. but the 4 way hazards do not work.
Any help would be appreciated.

Problem Solved

9 Aug evolved into a beautiful, warm summer's evening, the cat was supervising and SUN FM (89.7), Cowichan Valley Radio was playing awsome music. The multi meter hadn't run out of battery juice and the beer was cold.

Problem turned out to be a multi connector that was (along with many other connectors ) hanging loose under the steering column. There needed to be a jumper accross the plug from a switched 12vdc source to the wire supplying power to the signal relay (all on the same plug). Don't know what this multi plug is really supposed to be for but strongly suspect it has something to do with trailer lights.

The problem was more (or less) easily solved by a tip from Art at UK Trek & Traction that Landrover wiring harness colors had very specific meanings. So the colors could be traced and function identified no matter where a wire color could be observed anywhere on the truck. (not always my experience with NA built vehicles) Kind assistance was also provided by Dixon at Rockisland Rovers.

Signals flashed up with no further difficulties.

Cheers

For future reference.

You can find the wiring diagrams here (you will need to sign up):
http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/mil ... g%20Diags/

You can find the workshops manuals here:

Have fun.

Red,

Got some manuals .pdf and some wiring diagrams. But the color codes and the physical locations are not included. Perhaps there's a better book than the one I found in Eastern Europe?

Colour codes are in the wiring diagrams above. Plus they are the specific wiring diagrams for the British MOD vehicles.

Red,

Thanks for posting those links. Got the info from those sites previously. But can't seem to figure out what the colors actually are from the little abbreviations on the schematic. Do you have a key?

G - Green
R - Red
K - Pink
S - Slate
N - Brown

Red90,

My last post aimed to amplify the schematics in links you posted, perhaps simplifying something for someone else. My issue solved some time ago.
