The Rover-Landers of BC

Hi Everyone

The Sanichton Acres Old English car clubs annual British Swap meet and car show is coming up on Sunday April 12th. Last year I think we had about 7-8 rovers show up. It is a great show in a nice location with lots to look and do even if you are not into admiring fine well preserved British iron.

Sanichton acres is on the East side of the Pat Bay highway on the way out to the airport and ferries. Admission is $3.00 per person and it does fill up quickly, you may not get in (with your rover) if you show up after 11:00 am.

The Duncan group will meet at the Tim Hortons 1 mile north of Duncan (across from the BC. Forest Museum) . Departure time is 8:00 am. SHARP for Victoria.
Weather permitting.

If anybody is coming from Victoria we can met on the access road into Sanichton acres and drive in as a group. We should be down there by about 9:00am.

I think you may as well head into the show with who ever comes from Victoria, there is only one rover coming down from Duncan and we may just park in the vistors parking lot and not be in the show since we are driving a newer range rover and it is supposed to be a Old English car show.

Also since there is only one rover coming from Duncan we are no longer meeting at the Tim Hortons north of Duncan but are just heading straight down to the show.

I'll be there but a bit late. I don't know if I'll be able to get my newly washed 90 in the gate.

its all right I didn't end up getting there until about 2... I didn't put my truck in the show maybe another time
