I have a discovery 2 and I'm looking for front wheel bearings in the lower mainland.

A response the other day to the same question: http://www.roverlanders.bc.ca/roverforu ... ier#p31714

You should know in advance that Disco 2 hubs are not serviceable and you cannot replace the bearings. You need to purchase a complete assembly with wheel bearing housing, bearings and hub. These run over $100 for no-name brand and over $200 for OE brand.

Wow, that sounds cheap. I got quoted $900 from Alder Auto Parts, and over $600 from British Classics.. online they all seemed over $400. Unless I'm doing it wrong, and that's each.

Yea, I guess with the dollar dropping off the face of the earth, I was a bit low.

$112 plus shipping and import fees for aftermarket.
$270 for OEM ++.

Wholesale is $85 and $240 so that is not a ton of markup.

I just received an e-mail from Sue (I am working away)
"New business on Bowen - Land Rover parts supply. You should contact them" At my phone number!!!
Cheeky bugger, althoug I must admit a few essential bits and pieces have been arriving this week.
Good job I have arranged a Valentine delivery.
Eric.
