Series One's in Canada?

Hi Rover-Landers;
Keith Barrett here, in Ontario, about half way between Toronto and Ottawa. I have quite a few Land Rovers, mostly Series Ones, a few Series IIs. I drive a 1952 80 inch several times a week, have a 1959 88 on the road, some others that run, some that I'm restoring, some waiting, some for parts. It's the old story: too many projects, not enough time or money. I'm a member of the Land Rover Series One Club, and the Ottawa Valley Land Rover club. A fellow club member and I are compiling a list of all the Series Ones we can find in North America. I got off to a good start; I have ten. We will be making the list available to all who contribute to it.
I've seen photos of some of your meets, there seems to be quite a few Series One out in BC. Could you please put a call out to your members. We're looking for some basic info:
Year
Model
Chassis number
Colour
Owner
Location
contact info
condition (restore/driver/being restored/for parts/etc)
A few pictures
It will be interesting to see how many there are left. And it will serve to put owners in touch with each other, to be able to compare features, trade bits, etc.
