Question re. bent frame spring hangers

Hi everyone - I have a new galvanized frame which I am about to start bolting stuff to. In shipping, the front spring hanger tabs were bent, and I need to straighten them. Before I start beating or reefing on them, I was hoping to get input and advice on whether there is anything to avoid or any recommended way to do this (eg. heating before bending?)?

Had to straighten mine out to get my new parabolics to fit... just used a little heat with a propane plumbers torch and bent back into place with a pinch bar surprisingly easily. No wockin' furries!

If you heat enough to affect the steel, you will ruin the galvanizing. Damaging the galvanizing would be my largest concern.

Tried the cold bending using a very large crescent wrench and some angle iron to provide complete grip on the hangers, got them back to pretty close to where I think they should be - on the weekend, I will hang the springs on, rear shackles first and then fine tune to align the springs with the frame.

The galvanizing seems to have survived the bends intact, but I will spray with the cold galvanizing coating from Rona if I suspect any damage to the finish when I'm done with the finicking....
