That's a Gwagen Cabrio! They are very rare and I only know of one other power top Cabrio in Western Canada. Do you have any other information on it? I'm sure it was imported in from Japan and is going to be sold at a dealership

The whole rig was parked outside a house at Imperial and Halligan in Burnaby. I haven't been by again but I suspect the guy lives there who owns the tow vehicle.

I found the G-Cabrio. Its for sale in Vancouver. It looks like the guy imports Gwagon's from Germany and sells them into Canada. His price is way out to lunch lol

If its a 1999, is it even legal in Canada?

1999 models are now allowed in, as per the 15 year import rules. Saw a black 5 door at Don's last week and it was also a 1999.

It is all based on build date, so a 1999 model may have been built in 1998. For anyone importing, you can get an official build date within a couple of days here:

Right on... for some reason, I had 17 years in my head as being the legal age of a vehicle for import... Off to look on ebay.co.uk now and see what 99s I can find!
