has anyone tried to build, disco 1 chassis and series body? just woundering aprox time involved. and if started best person to get series body from. discos seems to be easy to find but sorcing a series seems to be more difficult.

Google "A 4x4 is born" and watch it. It was a little series where they did just that, although with a Defender body.

I loved that series.

I would start with 2 whole vehicles. You should be able to find a series with a rotten chassis. Series 3 will be easiest.

Discos/classics are a dime a dozen. Older is better as the electronics invade everything post 94-95.
