This years Brits on the Beach (the only show I do every year) is July 13 (Sunday) 2014

It's a beautiful location with lots of parking, playground and waterpark for kids, and of course a beach.

300+ old British cars last year and about as many old British people... Here are some pics.. though I see my car didn't make the cut...

Be there! It's always a good time.

No photos of series Land Rovers ANYWHERE in that link... plus they stuck all the Series Landys in the farthest corner out of sight from what I remember - talk about being shunned!

One shall not be attending this year. I have a mind to send them a letter what what hmm!

Hi Guys

Brits on the beach is a great show except for our parking spot. I asked them about that a couple of years ago. They said the grass is all dead down that way and Land Rovers seem to leak the most oil so.........guess were we get parked. At least its in the shade. See you there this year.

I have heard whispers that the parking will be different this year as they had over 300 cars in 2013 and some thing has to change to make it work a little smoother.

Do not forget about the 12th Van ilse Land Rover Rally June 6th and 7th 2014. Much more than a car show.

Having been parked in several areas durring my attendance, including the one time I owned "The 1974 Range Rover" I'd have to say the LR corner isn't a bad spot. Good shade there.

I take exception to the oil leak comment. MY cars leak the most oil! Damn persnickety old women!

They shall suffer my Wrath for that comment!

Actually a few years back they stuffed me and my Rat Rod Vauxhall (Flat Black with Cherry Bomb exhaust) Next to a 70's Rolls Royce. It really Cheesed off the Rolls owner... no one looked twice at the Rolls ha ha...)

To 99 Disco 2

The Van Isle Land Rover Rally will be June 6th and 7th this year, it is located on a farm just north of Duncan, the details are not fully finalized yet. Last year was a different format than the 10 years before. Stay tuned to the Vancouver Island section of the Rover Landers forum for further details.
At the top of the Island section is a link to the Van Isle Land Rover Network web site, lots of photos and info of what we get up to on the Island, however the photos have become very mixed up and are not really sorted by year or event anymore.

You can also check the rally out on the Rover landers web gallery, click on the year then click on the Van Isle Cowichan Valley Rally page to check the photos.

It is a great event we have had up to 25 Rovers show up.
