So with Summer almost here, I think a Full Canvas Top for my Series 88" might be in order. A quick internet search and I found a number of places where one can buy one. I need the complete Hoop Set, a good quality top with side windows. it would be nice if the windows were removable. Does anyone have experience with the following suppliers and can they please comment on the build quality, fit and customer service?
Following prices are in Canadian Funds, Shipping & Taxes are Extra.
North America:
- Rovers North (Exmoor) Canvas: $1122.
- Rovers North (Exmoor) Mohair: $1970.
- Atlantic British (Bestop?): $604. + ?Hoop Set
- Urban Land Rovers (All Wheel Trim): $879.
- Pangolin4x4 (Exmoor): $?
- Badger Coachworks (custom): $2628.
UK:
- All Wheel Trim: $1196.
- Exmoor: $1140.
Any thoughts?

My truck has a Exmoor trim top. The quality and fit is good. If you order a Badger, it is about an 18 to 24 month wait.

Have you talked to a local upholsterer? There is a boat cover place I have used that does such things custom at a good price. You get a choice of colours and fabrics as well. Some make hoops, but I understand you can buy them from suppliers fairly cheap.
Thinking the land of Ogopogo would have a few boat top outfitters :)

P.S.: The Badger price does NOT include the hoop set... and the delivery is September if you order now  for about $3000 USD complete with quarter windows, alpine windows and sunroof, which would be cool to have... if one had the means.
I tried a couple upholstery shops in Kelowna and they all feel that without having seen one, it would be tough (expensive). I did have one guy retort the comments from Badger in that Twillfast is not the best material around and that some German cloth (don't know the name), used on Mercedes was the best there is, but he sounded Bavarian, so there mein heir.

Have you looked around for a used stick set? Normally they can be found cheap, locally...... Then it looks like $600 or so for a full tilt.

Good idea. I'll post a WTB for a 88 Hoop Set.
