Next club run East Stave lake - Sunday March 23rd

Spring is in the air .... Trucks are still full of fresh sand from Peg .... Time to talk about the next run...
We are planning a local one day club run on Sunday 23rd March, so mark it on the calendar, book it off work, bribe the wife, what ever you have to do ......
More details to be posted over the next few days,

Hey great! I am putting extra low - low range gears in and need to test them out. Can we make it a gnarly 4x4 trip please? lol

We have a sunny day in the forecast, it's looking good for our local run.
What - A one day off roading adventure in the forest East of Stave lake
When - Sunday March 23rd, meeting at 9am, departing at 9.30am sharp. Back on the highway around 4.30pm.
Where - Meeting at the Subway Restaurant on Highway 7, Mission (Lougheed highway & Dewdney Trunk Road) at 9am, grab some Subway breakfast and a take out lunch - There is a gas station (Co-Op) that does Petrol and Diesel next to the Subway. If fuel is needed, fuel up first when arriving.

What Else -The plan is to have a camp fire at lunch time on the beach of the lake, (bring a small bundle of dry fire wood if you have) family / dog friendly run, expect some water puddles (2ft deep), bring your camera / sunglasses 8)

Lots of great photos in the Gallery from this East Stave Lake run, we had an awesome day full of sunshine, tugging, winching and generally playing around. It took us 3 hours to complete a half km stretch along the beach to our lunch spot, and boy were we hungry when we finally arrived on the "island" .... thanks to all that came out .. hope it wasnt to gnarly! (where was Graham and the Toyota?),
