I'm looking to have the heated windshield replaced on my Classic, (icbc claim) however I have had no luck with my local auto glass shop finding a replacement.
Is there a Rover friendly glass shop?

First port of call is probably a Land Rover main stealer.

Go to Speedy Auto Glass. The one in Vernon didn't have one, but could get one overnight.

There are hard to find, I am surprised Speedy found one so quickly, but I guess that is why they are called Speedy.
Alan Simpson has one (non-heated) up at his place.... you can get hold of him at

Good news! Speedy in Abbotsford found me a new Windshield. It will be arriving sometime next week all the way from Alberta.
Thank you all for the help. :D

I had my heated screen done on my classic a few years ago, it was about $1200 installed  of which I paid $200 and ICBC paid the $1000 .... Definately a good idea to have windscreen coverage!
A heated windscreen is such a good idea for this Vancouver weather. I also have one in my Defender and use it pretty much every morning in the winter as it takes the Defender 15 mins before any heat is produced to blow on the screen

Agreed! It's second nature in the RR in this weather and it clears almost instantly. :D
I was out about a week ago in a relative's nice, newish Toyota. The windscreen was all misted up and the cold engine was doing nothing to clear it. We also had an icy tornado inside the car. I love the RR auto feature that will not blow air until it can provide it at the requested temp.
Or maybe it's just the Solihull panel gaps allow enough fresh air through that we don't get any condensation!

Plus with the heated windshield you can use your center top dash vents as cup holders..lol
