Hi,
New to this forum been lurking in the shadow's for a long time
so I'm the one who ended up with the "Armored one" that use to reside in BC
so I've had the wagon in my garage for over a year now so I thought a update might be in line

After driving it into the garage my daughters decided it was going to be called the Missing Link which seemed quite apt
first thing that happened was a check of the engine to find the compression issue which ended up being a pie shaped piece missing out of the piston son that engine came out for spares got a 3.9 in there now

Then I started stripping all the Kevlar and aluminuim plate that was every where and then the glass (the windshield weighted in at 125 lbs on its own ) and ive now stripped just about a 1000lbs in weight sit's a lot higher now lol,and miles of excess wire from all the police stuff

A new bulkhead had to go on and new sides for the rear and ive stripped and painted the whole frame,
now i'll be running new fuel lines and hopefully get this beasty started very soon

There was 1/4 plate on the inside which I've removed and I think I'm up to about 140 rivets in the back tub now lol my reason for getting a pneumatic riveter

Cool, its great to see her getting a new lease of life. Even though she is sitting high now, once you start adding all those heavy "toys" (winch, roof rack, roof tent, spare tyre & fuel etc ..) it will sit back down at the right height.

Welcome to the forum, Keep us updated ....

Cheers,
Andy
