15 inch wheels
was there two different width 15 inch wheels for series land rovers , i was told there was a wider offset 15 wheel for a sand tire or something like that .

The wider ones are 1 ton rims iirc.

NADA (North America Dollar Area) spec 88's in the mid to late 1960's up 'til they stopped importing them in '74 had a wider 15" wheel than the ROW. (rest of world)
I don't recall how wide. Many people were trying to replace them with 16" wheels for better tire size.

I have 4 of the 526753 88" NADA, 15" wheels if anyone is interested.
Currently using 16" LWB wheels.
