The nicest 110 on West 10th

First spotted on Friday night on my commute home; then had a proper good look this morning.
THE NICEST 110 in Vancouver. Probably the newest, if the 56 plate is legit, but the LHD and dash threw me off. From the look of it, a full restoration and many many impressive upgrades.
Well done :)

Can't be a legit 56 plate - they never would have got it imported in the country as 2006 is way too new for import regs...

If the owner is here on a Work Permit of 36 months or less (or a diplomat) for example, the Land Rover CAN be less than 15 years old (but they must export the vehicle at the end).

Technically I could have brought a newer one over (as I'm on a 2 year Work Permit at the moment), but I'm not planning on going back to the UK unless I'm forced to, hence I'm waiting for my '97 to arrive...
Any photos?
What was 'wrong' with the dashboard that threw you off?

DrRangelove- There are a few that get through; mostly my thoughts that it's a 56-plate; it looks incredible / new paint / new roof rack and ladder, has every upgrade I've ever wanted to put into my Defender, and then some. Would be curious as to the restoration bill on it though - the ExMoor seats alone!
Withabix- Correct regarding the entry/exit for newer vehicles. This one has BC plates in addition to the UK plates, so I'm guessing it's here to stay. The dash looked at first glance like the pre-02 dashes most common on 300TDI's and 200TDI's, but it also had an IronGoat center console and the gauges / dials looked newer than 02 as well. But, I can't say for certain, it was a quick peek in the window and on my way. I cycle past twice a day, so I can have another look tomorrow I suppose.

The BC plates are a requirement anyway beyond a certain period of time I think - probably equal to or less than the Driving Licence period? Not sure.

I doubt it will be allowed to stay past the wok permit expiry - even if the owner becomes a PR
