Hard to believe its almost December and time to schedule the Rover-Landers Christmas Dinner.

The Rover-Landers Christmas Dinner

Where - Northlands Golf and Country Club, 3400 Anne Macdonald Way, North Vancouver, BC.
When - Thursday December 19th starting at 7pm
What - A tasty three course Christmas meal including soft drinks, taxes & tip at $40 per person.(menu details will be posted on the website). Alcohol drinks are at extra cost.
Who - All Rover-Landers members, family and friends.
What Else - Lots of great door prizes, photo slide show of all this years club events, fun & frolics!

We will need to give the restaurant a head count and your menu choice, please post up here andf let us know your Entree choice, A, B or C ...

Roverlanders Christmas Menu
Starters:
-Daily Soup - daily market inspirations
-House Greens - apple, dried cranberry, toasted walnuts, market greens, shaved carrot & Raspberry vinaigrette
-Fish Cakes – Sockeye Salmon and Pacific Cod with bitter greens & creole remoloude

Entrees:
A- Butternut Squash Risotto - Arborio rice, pecorino, lemon
B- Turkey Roulade – rolled turkey w/ housemade stuffing, oven roasted root vegetables & shitake mushroom pan jus
C- Sunday Style Pot Roast - roasted root vegetables, mash potato, caramelized onion jus & horseradish cream

Dessert:
Eggnog Crème Brulee

Attention All ...

For the Rover-Landers Christmas Dinner we require a minimum number to attend to be able to use the seperated area we have booked and to keep the 3 course Christmas dinner. If you are "sitting on the fence" or still pondering whether to attend now is the dead line.
We need to confirm adequate numbers by this Wednesday evening. In the event that not enough people are attending the event will have to be cancelled....

Very Sorry Folks, but we won't be able to make it this year. On behalf of Carla and me I wish you all a Merry Christmas and look forward to seeing you at Founders Day.

In the same vein, I'm not going to make it either... My son is having a belt ceremony for his karate class and since I already had to miss his holiday concert at school due to a final conflict, I need to be there.

However I want to wish everyone at the roverlanders a great holiday season and wish you all the best in the coming year!
