Machine Shops

#1 Post by DBrands » Mon Sep 09, 2013 6:13 pm

As some of you may know from the last club meet at Triangle road, my 90 has attempted to become a steam engine.

I have been getting quotes from machine shops to skim my 200tdi head and re-condition the valves. I don't have much to go on as far as reputations. All I have are quotes from a few shops.

Are there any machine shops club members can recommend between White Rock and UBC? (or anywhere not too far off that route)

Thanks,

David

I had quite a bit of work done by
Pacific Parts Machine Shop in Vancouver
604.874.6313
If I recall the guy running the shop is Peter.
They do a lot of work on Diesel engines, big and small.

I did try magnem engine services but found them
to be very disorganized and know very little when it comes to Diesel engines .
