Anyone looking for a project? The Canadian Government has 5 Defenders up on their surplus website. So far the most expensive one I saw was $3000, yes $3000.

I think you missed the fact that they are not FOR SALE they are for auction and are going for substantially higher than the minimum bid.

Here's that last few results:

'83 Non-Runner D90 - Minumum Bid $2,000 Sold $6,000
'86 D110 - Minumum Bid $3,000 - Sold $8,870

How about the RHD Wolf D90's last month that had a minimum of $4,000 and sold for between $8,860 and $45,000

Me thinks you are a tad optimistic at this point...

Looks like all the ones currently for sale don't even run.
That green 110 pickup doesn't look too bad... but it has "several parts missing, including the motor".
Bit troubling.
