I don’t know if Michelin doesn’t make the oem 4x4 tire, but they are no longer available in North America as far as I can tell. They are quite a good tire even for more than the occasional trail trip. Sometimes a set comes up used…but they are usually near or past what I would think is worth mounting on a 5,000lb vehicle.

I have 5 Michelin 4x4 XPC's for sale. 255/65R16

15,000 km's, so they are pretty much like new. Tire diameter is 29.1" They are coming off an '04 Discovery.

'smokinbro' has expressed interest in them, but if that falls through, you are welcome to them.

I have one XPC 235 70 R16 on the back door as a spare for the new Toyo AT Open Country 255-65-r16 @ 109H. On my 97 Disco. Much quiter than the XPC that that had over 100k. Toyo's are over 18 months old now. No problems.

I've had good off road runs with the club.

The old tires might be still be at MIDWAY TIRE LTD. 13412 - 72ND AVENUE.

Did not receive any discount on the new tires when replacing XPC's. I had the tires listed on the old board for several months with no hits.
