SRS light on dash

All,
The SRS light on the dash of the D2 is on most of the time, but occasionally doesn't light. I've been told it may be a seat belt sensor. Which scan tool does this light, the "three amigos" one for the ABS?
Thanks,
David

Check connection under seats. Unplug yellow plugs & look for any corrosion clean & reconnect. The level of corrosion can be as small as a film on the pins. This is usually a hard fault unfortunately. :( Safety First
Second, the only way to clear that code is to have the codes read with a scanner that has Rover software, fix the problem then have them cleared.
In other words, no matter what you try, even if it were to fix it, the light will stay on.
By the book, being a safety item, it is supposed to throw a hard fault, not a soft fault, maybe I am wrong or you were just lucky if you unplug & replug the yellow connectors & the light goes out.

I've been messing with the connections under the seats for a few months.
The fix to this turns out to be interesting. I always have the seat all the way back and down. My ex-wife who is 5'1" drove the D2 last week, and when I moved the seat back to where I have it the SRS light went out and has stayed out.
Hmmm.
