The breather on my rear axle has been damaged and I would like to replace it. Does anyone know of a local source for 1/8" bsp fittings to replace it with?
I see that I can order a whole push fit kit from the UK, but really only need the one fitting. Should I try a local pneumatic supply?
Thanks for any insight.

Okay, so it looks like I have found a couple possible options after a bit of internet searching.DBrands wrote:The breather on my rear axle has been damaged and I would like to replace it. Does anyone know of a local source for 1/8" bsp fittings to replace it with?

Pirtek Fluid Systems on Annacis Island and Precision Bearing in Abbotsford both appear to stock suitable fittings.

NPT and BSP are almost the same in the 1/8" size. You could just run a 1/8" NPT tap in to clean the threads and use a more common fitting.

I bought my axle breathes on eBay. Just search for 1/8 BSP air brush fittings with a 6mm push fitting. I think I paid $5 shipped for 3.

Maybe a good time to install breather tubing up high in the engine bay if you haven't already done that....
