The doors unlock when you try to lock them and the interior lights come on sometimes when I was driving. Problem starts after a few days of rain

Pulled all the door switches, found 3 of them were damp. When I threw a multimeter on them I found one them 3000K resistance :idea: rather then going open circuit.

Gave them all a good shot of WD40 and covered the exposed strap on the side with some electrical tape.

Retesting found them all going open circuit properly. :)

Reinstalled, everything seems to be working properly now.

I'll update once I know it worked, but looks good now!

In my Disco 1, sometimes while driving, the doors will lock & then the alarm goes off.
I have to pull over & lock/unlock doors multiple times with key to shut alarm off.

I have found that if I lock the drivers door first (locks all doors) , from an open left rear door, the alarm will not arm & problem solved.

I find that connecting and disconnecting the seat belts six times in quick succession then getting out and walking to the rear of the vehicle will sometimes work. :roll:

Mr. Secretary, you're just jealous 'cause you don't have power locks or an alarm...
