Snow Flake Chase - Sunday 22nd January
Posted: Tue Jan 17, 2012 4:09 pm
Its been a tradition to have a club run on the Sunday after Founders day, namely the "Snow Flake Chase" which is a local run where we head out to enjoy the Mountain Air and get to crunch some snow under the Land Rover tyres! (not too hard to do this year!)
This year we have scouted out a run to the north end of the beautiful Chehalis Lake area and have come up with a fun trail full of the wonderful winterland.
Meeting Time will be Sunday Jan. 22nd at 9am at the Sasquatch Inn in Agassiz, on Highway #7. Planning to depart by 9.30am sharp. We plan to be back on the ashphalt between 4pm - 5pm. (before dark).

With the current conditions, Off road / Snow / All Terrain tyres are a must, also a tug strap and have a tug strap point front and back of your truck. A shovel and tyre chains would be a option if you have them.
Also recomended are snow boots, extra clothes, blankets & sunglasses if its sunny 8)
The Sasquatch Inn will not be open at this time of the morning so before you arrive there, please ensure you have fueled up, brought or picked up lunch (or a Sandwich from Tim Hortons on the way).
Don't forget to bring your cameras...
Cheers,
Andy
