The Rover-Landers of BC

Hello members,

I'm a newbie Range Rover 1996 HSE 4.0 owner.
Just recently RR has been jittery when trying to change gear and feels like it may stall.... When I take foot off gas the RR changes gear. This has happened with both cheap and expensive unleaded.
Has anyone experienced this before and offer any cheap solutions?

What you describe could be so many things, but normally it ends up being a dirty or failed sensor. Have a read through this website for lots of great advice and tips...

In my experience it always turns out to be something very simple 95% of the time so check and double check all the simple stuff first.
You don't mention having any dash warning lights on?
