Bill,

A lot of these "hoops" like this on the internet are to try to stop data-mining "bots", worms and other viruses from easily getting in to sites. It is annoying, but sort of a necessary evil. I have a seperate email and persona set up for these occasions.

Yep, I understand the purpose of some of these security measures but I also know how easy it is to post photos to this forum without the need to log in to another site. Just sayin'

...more progress...
Drive-train back in...new brake lines 90% complete and installed
New bushes in sandblasted Pedals, ready for paint
All dash parts restored or rebuilt
Choke assembly rebuilt and painted
Pedal to Carb linkages blasted and painted
Block painted...easier to see the leaks
Next up is painting the bulkhead and ordering up the wiring

This is why I haven't been coming out on any runs :80inch:
After 3 years it's time to finish this.

Now I am starting on the body...jumping ahead a bit...
Finally found a paint mix that is very, very close to RAF Blue which the truck was originally painted.

The first pic is that of the original color...

This is the new and old paint side by side....Color tone looks a bit different between the two pics but that is just the flash.

This was done at Lordco, through their PPG OMNI system.

Update...

Finally got the loom 90% installed and just have a few "issues" to resolve but coming along slowly and surely. Who knows it might even be ready by Founders day.

I am probably less than a month from firing it up for the first time in 3 years.

Anyone have a straight Series 1 bumper kicking around ????.

Ok Ray... :D

Well from this...to this! :D

Having a bear of a time bleeding and the brake system. Gone through 1 series 1, and two CB series 2 type with an adapter plate.

Going to try a CV type as these are easier to bleed. If that doesn't work I will resleeve the original with a stainless insert.

All lights now wired up and working except rear brakes and flashers...should be road legal shortly.

Also made up a replacement vin plate complete with stamped vin.
