An ecentric French millionair + wife + mistress + exparimental Citroen cars + 100? support people....
Tried to drive from Edmonton to Telegraph Creek, British Columbia in 1934. Somewhere in there must be a good idea for a trip!

They've shown the film of this expedition a number of times on the "Knowledge Network". I've never managed to score a copy to keep yet though. It is a really interesting trip with lots of eccentric characters which makes it perfect for a Rover-Landers re-enactment

hey Bill , on amazon.ca , you can order a dvd called ' the champagne safari ' produced in 2006 which used the original footage film . a copy of the original film was found in a basement in Paris in early 1980's . the dvd is less than 20.00 .
a book called ' bannock and beans ' by bob white recounts this expedition and he was 1 of many who participated in this ill-fated expedition .
