On the 27th we have plans for a Van Isle group drive. No plans yet of what time or where we are going but I'm sure something will be worked out by the time Sunday comes. If you are interested and aren't monitoring the other Van Isle forum and posted there, post on here. I check daily, even several times a day; except when I don't.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Okay folks, guess I'll take the bull by the horns. Sunday morning, 0930 meet at the Tim Horton's a mile or so North of Duncan, that would be the one across the highway from the Forest Museum. We are meeting at 0930 so we can be out of the parking lot and down the road by 1000. We will go exploring on some of the old logging roads west of Mount Prevost. These connect to Hill 60 and Copper Canyon. We also have the opportunity to ascend Mt. Prevost, Mt. Sicker or Mt. Brenton from this area. From what I understand there isn't much too challenging, but we could alter that for those with an itch I believe. Bring a lunch and warm clothing. We should make it an early afternoon as it gets dark before 1630.

We went! Only three vehicles but had a great time on a beautiful day. Three Rover Landers members and five other Island Land Rover enthusiasts.
