We had planned to run our own RTV Trials on November 7th, but the liaison for that run was not able to prepare... So, it was decided at Thursday night's meeting that we would host the 4WDABC Region 2 run the following weekend. See announcement from the calendar below... I'm told that there could be quite a number of trucks from around the lower mainland, so we want to plan well to make it a successful event.
In that regard, there are several of us that are heading out this Sunday, October 24th, on a reccy run. Please feel welcome to join us. We'll be meeting at Paul's Diner in Aldergrove for breakfast at 9:30 and heading out shortly after 10 towards the Cultus area. Paul's Restaurant is in the Safeway Mall, east end of Aldergrove. Address is 27520 Fraser Highway, Aldergrove.
The Roverlanders of BC hosts the 4WDABC region 2 run this month. We decided to run a UK style Road Tax Vehicle Trials as was planned for last weekend, however inviting participants form the 4WDABC to try their vehicles in the event.
Trials are a big attraction in the UK due to the tight tracks with lots of trucks so lots of spectator action.
The trucks will be required to navigate through 7 gates successfully over a distance of about a half mile, with points given for each successful gate.
Rules and details will be posted shortly.
