The "Assualt truck" in this game is clearly a Landrover Defender 110, I suspect it was not named for trademark reasons. The jeeps in the game are marked as such. The eye canady in this game is stunning, gameplay could be better.

Interesting... I've only played the demo. Almost related; If you like aviating about and virtually killing people, "IL 2 1946" is a culmination of the best WWII single/multiplayer flightsim series ever produced. It's a HUGE sim. The initial launch was in 2001 (I think), so now it's inexpensive and it runs well on older hardware. Certainly worth checking out. I was shocked, SHOCKED when a friend showed me it a couple of years ago (I'd never heard of it as it came out of Russia by 1C Maddox Games, produced by Ubisoft and not advertised in NA). Havn't spotted a Landy in there though, as they came later... >200 versions of different aircraft to fly with extensive missions from high 4 engine level bombing to wee 1939 biplanes, and a still growing online community!!! There's quite a learning curve involved, but there are a few flightschools and many competitive squadrons to help a newb. A joystick is a must. Trac IR and rudder pedals are optional.
Seriously, I find this game/sim attracts a mature technically inclined 'pilot', completely unlike Land Rover folk, who tend to be down to Earth, fearful of challenges, and devoid of spacial awareness.

I agree, it is my favorite flight simulator. and good value for the 19$ it cost me.
There are a few Offroad PS3/Wii racing games that let you drive a defender, but I can't remember which ones of the top of my head.

My son has the Ford Racing Off Road game which has Land Rover Defenders & Range Rovers to race, pretty cool by the looks of it!
It uses the Land Rover logo on the Defenders so must be licensed, probably from when the days that Ford owned the Land Rover group.
He has it on his PSP but we have seen it on Wii also....
Now....if I can just get past level 1 ..... It was much easier playing Space Invaders... sigh!

I picked up the ford off roading game in Malaysia, no doubt not a legal copy, the only legal copy of a game i saw there was COD4 and it was worth about $100 CDN, no wonder they copy everything!!
